Artists Eve Ingraham and Lauriel Sandstrom Capture a “Sense of Place”
This November’s exhibit “Sense of Place," features artists Eve Ingraham and Lauriel Sandstrom. The two artists have teamed up to create a show that includes paintings in watercolor, acrylic, and pastel whose glowing colors bring life to the places they portray. Eve’s unique jewelry lends grace and style to this beautiful exhibition.
Inspired by their love of nature and travel, both artists often add people to their paintings to help capture the emotional essence of the moment. “We try to evoke a sense of place that draws us back to the memory of that moment of inspiration,” explains Eve Ingraham. Both Eve Ingraham and Lauriel Sandstrom are members of Gallery North, the Northwest Watercolor Society, and Seattle CoArts
