Gallery North presents “Joyful Connections”: Works by local artist Kathleen A. Johnson

This month's featured artist at Gallery North is award-winning Edmonds artist, Kathleen A. Johnson. Her show titled "Joyful Connections" will feature her color-saturated and sometimes whimsical paintings of the flora and fauna of Edmonds. Sometimes referred to as the "crow lady," Kathleen often features crows and other birds in her paintings. She named her Edmonds-based business, Two Crows Studio, for two fledgling crows she encountered. "I have always had an interest in birds, particularly crows," she says. "I feel that they help keep humans in touch with the natural world."
